The Beauty and Power of Sisterhood

Alpha Phi is a sisterhood of outstanding women supporting one another in lifelong achievement. Our mission is to continue to live by our values of sisterhood, scholarship, service, leadership, loyalty and character development.

Alpha Phi has pushed me to be a better me. Because of Alpha Phi I have gained invaluable friendships and opportunities. But most importantly, Alpha Phi has gvien me a home and a family.”

I feel privileged to be part of such an amazing organization of women who are as passionate as I am.”

Through joining Alpha Phi, I met my best friends, my biggest inspirations and the women who shape my life.”

Letter From the President

Alpha Phi has given me a group of women who set the bar higher in all aspects of my life from academic excellence to community leadership. In the past year and a half, I have learned a lot. I have learned what it is like to have a sister, to have a group that is growing and changing, but at the same time keeping constant, high values. I have learned how it feels to be supported by over 150 strong women everyday. I have truly learned what it means to be an Alpha Phi. We are women from across the globe, with unique backgrounds, studies, and interests, but we are held together by our values: sisterhood, scholarship, service, leadership, loyalty, and character development. I know that as individuals we are great, but as one, we are unstoppable. I could not be more proud of what the Epsilon chapter has accomplished thus far, and am excited to see the impact that our current and future leaders have on this chapter, campus, and community through their four collegiate years and beyond.

Red Dress Gala

The Red Dress Gala is one of UMN Alpha Phi’s most cherished events of the year. It is one that is completely dedicated to philanthropic efforts and fundraising for a cause that Alpha Phi's across the nation are passionate about. The donations raised are given to the Alpha Phi Foundation, which is a foundation that supports research and awareness for women's heart health. Families, friends, and alumnae are invited to spend an elegant evening of hors d'oeuvres, drinks, fashion, and fun with the sisters of Alpha Phi.

We are excited to announce that at our Eighth Annual Red Dress Gala, which took place on February 21st, our chapter raised $65,000 for the Alpha Phi Foundation!

We would like to thank all of  this year's guests, as well as the many supporters who were unable to attend. It was an incredible evening and was so humbling to feel the support of our friends, family, and the entire Greek community, all raising money and awareness for a cause that is very near and dear to our hearts. We have been nationally recognized by Alpha Phi for being the Top Donating Chapter in the Northern Quadrant, and couldn't have done it with out all of our supporters!

Please watch out for new information on our Ninth annual Red Dress Gala that will be taking place in February of 2016!
